ILM LEVEL 4 PROGRAMMES Award, Certificate and Diploma Leadership & Management The Level 4 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Leadership and Management are professional qualifications which will give new and aspiring middle managers the key knowledge, skills and understanding needed to deliver in their broad and complex roles.

 Who is this qualification for? This qualification is designed for new and aspiring department heads, regional team leaders and other middle managers to really get to grips with the role, gain comprehensive business knowledge and develop the skills they need to lead at this level.

 Level 4 Programmes in Leadership & Management Diploma: • 7-8 units (minimum 37 credits) Certificate: • 3-4 units (minimum 13 credits) Award: • 2 or 3 units can be studied on their own

 Method of Learning The main methods of learning will be a mix of: • Self-study from ILM-approved learning materials • Group workshop sessions • Individual tutorials • Additional tutor support by phone/email or in person

 Duration The ILM Leadership and Management programmes will take between 6 and 12 months to complete.

 How are the ILM programmes assessed? The ILM qualifications will be assessed by a mix of methods including assignments, presentations, case studies or CPD plan & record.
